- Scientific Name: Nepeta x faassenii 'Puursian Blue'
- Nepeta, also known as catmint, is a fragrant deer-resistant perennial with spiky flowers in hues of purple and blue. It is named for the scent given off when its stems are broken, which attracts cats.
- Nepeta 'Purrsian Blue' has periwinkle blooms and grows in a more compact shape than other varieties of catmint. Due to its tolerance to heat and drought, the fragrant blooms last well into late summer and can even be promoted to rebloom through deadheading. Including foliage and blooms, 'Purrsian Blue' will grow to 14-18" tall x 24-30" wide.
