Scientific Name: Lavandula x intermedia 'Phenomenal'
English lavender is a very fragrant deer-resistant herbaceous perennial with a semi-woody growth habit similar to rosemary.
Lavandula x intermedia 'Phenomenal' is classic looking lavender with fluffy violet blooms and silvery green foliage that is soft to the touch. It is a dense plant but still manages to reach a size of 24-32" wide x 24-32" tall.
PRO TIP: Lavenders need very good drainage to avoid rotting their woody stems. Try planting 'Phenomenal' in a raised garden bed or mixing large-grain sand into your planting medium.
