Buddleia ‘Grand Cascade’ (Butterfly Bush)

Scientific Name: Buddleia 'Grand Cascade'

Buddleia, also known as Butterfly Bush, blooms and reblooms all summer long until first frost, year after year. It does what the name implies: attracts butterflies, among other pollinators like bees and hummingbirds.

'Grand Cascade' is a larger variety, sporting enormous light-lavender panicles that cascade over the garden. Panicles can reach a size of 12-14" in length and 4" thick! Sturdy stems survive harsh weather in northern zones.

This plant in the garden will reach a maturity of 5.5-6' in height and 7-8' in width.

Has fragrant light-lavender blooms that are drought tolerant and deer-resistant. Photo courtesy of Walter's Gardens https://www.waltersgardens.com/index.php
