- Basil is an annual herb with aromatic, oval-shaped leaves on tender stems that terminate with a flower spike. Each plant has many stems and reaches a maximum height of around 20". This plant loves warm weather, plenty of sun, and requires a frequent consistent watering schedule.
- PRO TIP: Allowing the stems to create a flower means fewer leaves will grow. Pinch off flower heads to encourage stems to split into two new leafing branches.
