In 1910, James and Mary McArdle opened a store in downtown Greenwich to supply gardeners on the grand Greenwich estates. From that humble beginning, McArdle’s blossomed into a full-service florist and garden center.

Our commitment to Greenwich, Stamford and Westchester County runs as deep as our passion for beautiful plants and flowers. We have joyfully hosted the Reindeer Festival, and joined forces with Friends of Autism, Breast Cancer Alliance, Greenwich Land Trust, Boys and Girls Club, Kids In Crisis, Adopt-a-Dog, Greenwich Tree Conservancy and numerous other organizations. We have supported local Little League teams and High School clubs. We have planted gardens at Armstrong Court, Wilber Peck and Adams Gardens, and planted trees throughout the town of Greenwich.
